Responsibilities of Early Learning Coalitions & Board Members

Coalitions were created to oversee and improve the readiness and successful outcomes of children from birth to kindergarten age in the community (F.S. 1002). The governor appoints the Chair and two additional private sector members. A maximum of 19 members may serve on the Coalition board.
