Qualifications (Florida DCF Standards)
- 1 30-Hour DCF Part I Introductory Training Completion of the Florida DCF-approved 30-hour Introductory Child Care Training
- 2 8-Hour DCF Special Needs Training Working knowledge of appropriate practices for children with special needs
- 3 CDA or Higher Preferred Child Development Associate credential, Florida CDA, or degree in Early Childhood Education a plus
- 4 Current Level 2 Background Screening Clearable through the Florida DCF background screening process
- 5 Current CPR & First Aid Certification Infant/child CPR and First Aid, or willingness to obtain within 90 days
