The Early Learning Coalition’s Child Care Resource and Referral Department helps people in starting up their own family child care home or opening a child care center. This is accomplished through the distribution of start up packets and pre-licensing visits to assist prospective providers in meeting the standards set by the Department of Children and Families, Licensing Unit of Saint Lucie County.

There are no charges/fees associated with a provider listing in the Child Care Resource and Referral Database or for referrals to your program. If you are asked to provide a payment for a referral or for a listing in the CCR&R Database, please call the Agency for Workforce Innovation/Office of Early Learning Resource and Referral Network at 1-866-357-3239.
