Join parents, childcare providers, community leaders and others as they "stand up for Florida's children" at the Children's Movement Milk Party Rally on Wednesday, September 15 from 6:30 to 7:45 pm. The rally will be held at Fort Pierce Central High School, 4101 S. 25th St., Fort Pierce. This event is one in a series of milk parties scheduled throughout Florida. It is a free event and open to the public.
The Children's Movement of Florida is a citizen-led, non-partisan movement to educate political, business and civic leaders and parents. The movement's goal is to encourage Florida's leaders and citizens to make the well-being and education of our children the state's highest priority. The milk parties will highlight the need for the investment of public resources in programs that make a real difference in the lives and futures of children.
As parents, child care providers and community members, your participation can help make an impact in how our leaders and citizens view support for children's programs and services. For more information about the children's movement visit: www.childrensmovementflorida.org.
